Augsburg’s Robin Fellhauer scored after eight seconds against Bayern Munich, breaking the Bundesliga record jointly held by Kevin Volland and Karim Bellarabi by one second. The goal followed Manuel Neuer’s failed clearance.
Bayern improved after halftime and Ismael Saibari equalised. Augsburg regained the lead in the 64th minute when Neuer punched Calvin Brackelmann’s shot into Rodrigo Ribeiro’s path, allowing him to score. Bayern responded again 10 minutes before full time, with Nathaniel Brown finishing after Harry Kane cut the ball back. Kane had struck the woodwork in the first half. The draw extended Bayern’s run to only one league defeat in 48 matches, against Augsburg in January.
Elsewhere, a Rayo Vallecano match was stopped in the 13th minute after fans threw paper aeroplanes, rubber balls and other objects. Play resumed after the teams left the field, but the objects continued to be thrown and the match was abandoned with the score 0-0.
