Verda Healthcare expands Arizona and Texas Medicare ties through AstranaCare affiliates

Verda Healthcare has formed a partnership with AstranaCare Partners of Arizona and AstranaCare Partners of Texas to broaden care options for its Medicare Advantage members in Phoenix and Greater Houston.

Announced Oct. 10, the arrangement connects Verda’s plans with AstranaCare’s network of independent physician associations, which supports doctors with technology and local resources intended to reduce administrative work.

Verda serves Medicare beneficiaries in multicultural and underserved communities, with a focus on Pan-Asian, Hispanic and Arab American populations. Its offerings include Verda Noble Care, available during Medicare enrollment periods, and Verda Noble Chronic Care, a year-round Chronic Condition Special Needs Plan for eligible members with conditions including diabetes, chronic heart failure and certain cardiovascular disorders.

The partnership adds to Verda’s expansion in Arizona. In September 2025, Verda Health Plan of Arizona announced an arrangement with CareMore Health to connect its Maricopa County members with CareMore’s local provider network and culturally responsive services. Verda’s provider materials list Maricopa County in Arizona and Collin, Dallas, Fort Bend, Harris and Montgomery counties in Texas among the areas served by its special-needs plans.

The new alliance is intended to give Verda members in the two metropolitan markets access to AstranaCare-affiliated providers while extending Astrana’s payer partnerships into additional culturally focused Medicare populations.
