Pinnacle Financial Partners reported third-quarter 2026 non-GAAP earnings of $2. 69 per diluted share, exceeding the comparable market estimate by 7 cents. Revenue reached $1. 31 billion, $30 million above expectations and 140. 5% higher than a year earlier.
The results represent the first full-year reporting period after Pinnacle and Synovus Financial completed their merger on Jan. Pinnacle’s 2026 results include the combined organization, while earlier comparison periods generally reflect legacy Pinnacle, making year-over-year changes significantly affected by the enlarged balance sheet and purchase-accounting effects.
Loans had increased $2. 9 billion, or 3%, from the prior quarter, led mainly by commercial and industrial lending, while deposits rose $795 million, or 1%. Second-quarter net interest income was $956 million, non-interest revenue was $247 million and non-interest expense was $721 million.
The bank added 74 experienced revenue producers during that quarter, following 50 additions in the first quarter, and reported a preliminary common-equity Tier 1 ratio of 9. 93% at June 30.
The third-quarter figures were scheduled for release after the market closed on Oct. 21, with management’s earnings discussion set for Oct. That webcast is expected to provide the company’s detailed explanation of third-quarter revenue, expenses, credit performance and capital levels, but the reported figures already show adjusted earnings and revenue ahead of prevailing estimates.
