Anthropic’s IPO Filing Shows Enterprise Momentum, Cash Generation and an $80. 7 Billion Accounting Loss

Anthropic’s filing for a public offering has put unusually large financial figures at the center of its planned market debut. The company has not disclosed how much it intends to raise, and a final valuation and offering price have not been established, although a valuation of up to $2 trillion has been reported. The filing proposes a Nasdaq listing under the ticker ANT, making the offering a potential test of whether public-market investors will accept the scale of spending required to build frontier artificial-intelligence systems.

The clearest evidence of commercial expansion is Anthropic’s enterprise customer count. It also had more than 1,900 customers at the $1 million level and about 250 at $10 million or more. More than half of the customers in the $100,000 group used both Claude and a first-party application such as Claude Code or Cowork, up from about 30% at the end of last year. The filing reported that no single customer represented more than 10% of revenue for the first nine months of 2026, while the top five accounted for about 25%.

Anthropic’s reported revenue also accelerated sharply.

Cash-flow figures provide another important counterweight to the headline loss. At the same time, the filing warned that expanding compute capacity will require significant capital expenditures and future commitments.

The widely cited $80. 7 billion net loss needs to be separated into operating performance and valuation-related accounting movements. Those noncash items overwhelmed the $693 million operating loss, but they do not erase the company’s continuing risks: the filing says Anthropic may not achieve or sustain profitability, cloud partners may prioritize their own businesses or competing systems, and compute commitments are expected to reshape its cash-flow profile. The next major milestones are the offering’s eventual pricing, the amount raised and whether the proposed registration proceeds to a completed stock-market debut.
