The American Film Market is partnering with AMC A‑List and the B‑List Movie Club to host screenings for members at AMC Century City 15 from Nov 10‑13 during the 47th AFM.
The American Film Market (AFM) announced a partnership with AMC Theatres’ A‑List program and the fan‑driven B‑List Movie Club. The collaboration will allow A‑List and B‑List members to attend screenings and presentations from exhibiting companies at AMC Century City 15, directly across from the AFM headquarters at the Fairmont Century Plaza. All AFM screenings are scheduled for Nov. 10‑13, with the broader market running Nov. 10‑15.
Jackie Brenneman, president and CEO of the Independent Film and Television Alliance, said the partnership creates a unique opportunity for films to connect with frequent moviegoers and gather audience response. AMC senior vice president of marketing Carrie Trotter highlighted the aim of giving passionate moviegoers access to special screenings and content not typically available to the public. Brett Gaffney, founder of the B‑List Movie Club, and vice president Jenna Webster expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting it will help filmmakers see real audience reactions.
The 47th AFM has confirmed more than 215 exhibiting companies, including major studios and independent firms such as Lionsgate, Neon, StudioCanal and XYZ Films. The available reporting does not provide further details on the selection criteria for films, ticketing arrangements, or the expected impact of the partnership beyond the statements quoted.
